HiSmile review

HiSmile is a popular teeth whitening method using sodium bicarbonate and a LED light. Pump a syringe of whitening gel into the mouth piece and turn on the light and this will whiten your teeth. We break down the HiSmile product below.
Cost. 4/10
HiSmile is an at home whitening kit that comes with 3 gel syringes. This costs $80 AUD and is 6 days of treatment. It’s really good to see HiSmile sell small portions of teeth whitening. If you wanted a two week whitening cycle you would buy either a refill of syringes or buy the whitening pen too. The whitening pen review is comming soon. There are lower cost whitening kit options which is why we have only given this a cost rating of 4.
Duration. 9/10
HiSmile has been given a 9/10 because the the product cycle is only 6 days. This is fantastic and time efficient. Also the application time for each use is only 10 minutes! Other product application times are longer than ten minutes which makes this product different from the rest. When using HiSmile you are incapable of talking with it as it is full mouth encompassing. Given that, if the product duration was any longer than 10 minutes per application it would be onerous to use. As mentioned above we recommend coupling this up with other whitening products at the same time. Tooth paste and whitening pen would be good options. You can use either the HiSmile or Colgate whitening pen.
Effectiveness. 5/10
HiSmile uses baking soda formula to lift stains off your teeth. This is an effective way to make your teeth back to the natural white that they would be with our stains. Not movie star white teeth though. HiSmile is missing hydrogen peroxide which is, according to the dental association, the most effective and safe way to whiten teeth. We found that HiSmile brightens your teeth a couple of shades whiter depending on how dark your teeth are. It would most benefit people with really dark teeth.
HiSmile's best feature is it's duration of use. We recommend coupling this with hydrogen peroxide whitening by a dentist to keep your teeth white. Or as a standalone as previously mentioned if you have dark teeth. We don't think that this product can give you movie star white teeth. For that, you must use orally safe chemicals.
